Creepy cuisine is the cornerstone of new menu items in the wake of the Halloween holiday.
Krispy Kreme is getting in the spooky spirit of Halloween with its new Monster donuts. The terrifying treats are Kreme-filled shells dipped in electric purple or ghoulish green icing topped with white icing and sugar eyes in a variety of six monster faces. The doughnuts are available through Oct. 31.

Baskin-Robbins is celebrating Halloween by introducing two new creepy cakes: The Pinata Pumpkin Patch Cake and Oreo Cookie Halloween Cake. The Pinata Pumpkin Patch Cake, decorated like a jack-o-lantern, is an ice cream cake with a candy-filled center of M&Ms Minis. The Oreo Cookie Halloween Cake features the chain’s Oreo Cookie Cake decorated with orange frosting and topped with Halloween Oreo cookies with icing eyes. Both cakes may be customized with any ice cream flavor.

Three new double-stacked burgers are coming to the Johnny Rockets menu. The Teriyaki Pineapple Double-Stack Burger features two beef patties, a slice of grilled pineapple, melted provolone cheese, sweet and salty pineapple teriyaki sauce, lettuce, and tomato, all served on an artisan bun. The Spicy Southern Double-Stack Burger includes two beef patties, sriracha pimento cheese, a spring lettuce mix, tomato, dill pickle chips and mayonnaise on an artisan bun. The All-American Bacon Double-Stack, also served on an artisan bun, offers two beef patties with American cheese melted in between, a spring lettuce mix, tomato, mayonnaise, sweet relish, seasonings and chili sauce. Johnny Rockets also is offering the new Goosebumps Shake. Made with premium vanilla ice cream, chocolate syrup and milk, the shake is mixed with Oreo pieces and topped with whipped cream, an Oreo garnish, and gummy worms. The new burgers and shake are available through Nov. 15.

Panera Bread is rolling out its fall menu, including a new sandwich and a new salad. The Roasted Turkey, Apple & Cheddar Sandwich features roasted turkey raised without antibiotics, Vermont white cheddar cheese, apple and cabbage slaw, arugula, and a special sauce served on whole grain cranberry walnut bread. The new Ancient Grain, Arugula & Chicken Salad, tossed with white balsamic apple vinaigrette, offers chicken raised without antibiotics, arugula, an ancient grain blend, red grapes, apple and cabbage slaw, and toasted pumpkin seeds.

Whataburger is busting out the buffalo sauce for its new Buffalo Ranch Chicken Strip Sandwich. The handheld, served on a toasted 5-inch bun, features three crispy, all-white meat chicken strips, two slices of Monterey Jack cheese, buttermilk ranch, and Whataburger buffalo sauce. Whataburger’s new sandwich is available for a limited time.

Seasonal flavors are coming to Corner Bakery Café. The chain is introducing four new menu items to celebrate the fall season. The Gobbler, inspired by Thanksgiving Day leftovers, is a sandwich piled with oven-roasted hand-carved turkey, buttery sage stuffing, mixed greens, house-made cranberry mayo served on whole grain harvest bread. The butternut squash soup offers a hint of cinnamon spice and is created with seasonal produce. The autumn kale salad, tossed with goat cheese and a maple vinaigrette dressing, features mixed greens, kale, four grains, oranges, cranberries, roasted squash, green onions, and toasted almonds. The new crunchy honey banana buttermilk pancakes include four buttermilk pancakes topped with toasted granola, honey, banana and cranberries and is served with three slices of Applewood smoked bacon. Corner Bakery’s new fall-inspired items are available for a limited time.

McAlister’s Deli is debuting three new menu items – two of which are inspired by Chicago. The Chicago Style Sausage Sandwich, served on a toasted baguette, features spicy Italian sausage, melted provolone cheese, herbed marinara sauce, and roasted multi-colored bell peppers. The Chicago Style Sausage Pasta features Cavatappi pasta with spicy Italian sausage, roasted multi-colored bell peppers, herbed marinara sauce and Parmesan cheese. The chain’s new Baked Ham & Swiss offers Black Forest ham, Swiss cheese and spicy mustard served on country white bread and finished with Four Cheese sauce and melted Swiss and Parmesan cheese. McAlister’s new items will be available through Dec. 30.
