From AdvancePierre Foods comes two new sandwich offerings with a kick. The BIG AZ Western Omelet Wrap features an omelet egg patty with diced ham, red and green peppers and onions, layered with American and pepper jack cheeses and slices of smoked ham in a flour tortilla. The BIG AZ Sriracha Grilled Chicken Sandwich includes grilled chicken smothered in sriracha and topped with cheese on a corn-dusted microwavable bun.

Mondelez International is pairing two popular brands with the introduction of Oreo Chocolate Candy Bar, featuring bits of Oreo cookies mixed with Oreo crème and coated in the company’s Milka brand European milk chocolate.

The Hershey Co. has added two varieties to its Snack Mix platform. The new Take5 Snack Mix combines bite-size milk chocolate and pretzel bites with peanut butter candy, chocolate-covered caramels and peanuts. Almond Joy Snack Mix features bite-size pretzel bites and almonds with milk and white crème-covered coconut bites. Both varieties will be available in 2-oz tube packs for a suggested retail price of $1.99 and follows the launches of Hershey’s Snack Mix and Reese’s Snack Mix.

Nestle USA is launching SweeTarts Whipped & Tangy candies, featuring an airy, marshmallow-like texture and the brand’s signature sweet and tart flavors, including strawberry, lemon, orange and green apple.

Tyson Foods is introducing new products for convenience stores inspired by top industry trends. Hillshire Farm Premium Chicken Sausage will be available in four flavors: mango habanero, chicken apple, bacon gouda and sriracha jack. The products are positioned as a healthier alternative to beef and pork options. Tyson Bold Boneless Wings are available in sriracha, zesty garlic, mango habanero and sweet and spicy flavors.

New offerings from Johnsonville Sausage provide opportunities to expand convenience store menus with all-day breakfast, snacking and more. The new Sausage, Egg & Cheese Biscuit features a buttermilk biscuit stuffed with scrambled eggs, Johnsonville sausage and milk cheddar cheese. The company also has unveiled the Ultimate French Toast Sausage for the roller grill. The sausage features a sweet cinnamon aroma and buttery, maple syrup flavor.

From Ferrara Candy Co. comes Now and Later Shell Shocked candies in original and sour varieties. The products feature unwrapped bite-size taffy with a candy-coated shell in such flavors as banana, strawberry, cherry, green apple, grape, sour cherry, sour watermelon and sour green apple. Slated to start shipping in December, Now and Later Shell Shocked candies will be available in 3.5-oz share pouches, as well as 6-oz and 8-oz bags.

Krave Pure Foods, a subsidiary of the Hershey Co., is expanding its portfolio of protein snacks with a line of meat sticks. Created in partnership with the Culinary Institute of America, Krave Stick varieties feature meat layered with beans and sweet potatoes. Flavors include Sesame Garlic Beef with Sweet Potato, Spicy Red Pepper Pork with Black Beans, and Rosemary Lemon Turkey with White Beans.

The newest permanent addition to the Dr Pepper Snapple Group’s tea portfolio is Snapple Takes 2 to Mango Tea. The beverage combines black and green tea leaves with flavors of ripe mango. The product will be available in 16-oz glass single serve bottles.

Avitae USA, L.L.C. is launching a range of lower-calorie energy drinks featuring extended-release caffeine. ZÜM XR utilizes patented bead-based technology that controls the release rate of caffeine. Available in orange, mixed berry and lemon lime flavors, the beverages contain 70 calories per serving and will retail for approximately $2.99 per 12-oz can.

The newest flavor in the Sparkling Ice lineup of beverages from Talking Rain Beverage Co. is grape raspberry, which was developed in direct response to consumer demand, according to the company. Set for a nationwide debut in January, the beverage combines sparkling water, flavors, fruit juice and vitamins and has zero calories per serving.

New convenience store offerings from General Mills include Bugles Hot Buffalo corn snacks and Nature Valley Granola Cups. Available in peanut butter chocolate and almond butter flavors, the latter product features crunchy cups filled with nut butter and are made with whole grain oats and no artificial colors, flavors or sweeteners. Each serving has 5 grams of protein, 3 grams of fiber and 8 to 9 grams of sugar.
