Jimmy Dean continues to grow its Delights frozen breakfast foods brand with microwavable frittatas. The new line comes in three options: bacon and spinach; turkey sausage and bacon; and turkey sausage and veggies.
Aunt Jemima has introduced two new concepts for dashboard dining. Griddle Melts are microwavable slices of hearty toast topped with traditional breakfast favorites. Varieties are: apple and cinnamon; egg and cheese; sausage, egg and cheese; and sausage, ham and bacon. There’s also a finger-food option: Griddle Poppers. These two-to-three bite pops come in apple and cinnamon; chocolate chip; maple; and very berry.
Another new finger-food, heat-and-eat option is Cooked Perfect Breakfast Bites. These bite-sized balls come in three varieties: hash brown, maple pancake and scrambled egg.
Nabisco puts a new spin on breakfast sandwiches with its belVita breakfast biscuit brand. The new dark chocolate crème sandwiches rolling out this month combine a hint of sweetness with 15 grams of whole grains and a promise of four hours of nutritious steady energy.
Snyder’s of Hanover is now in the breakfast biscuit category with Lance Quick Starts. Similar to its other filled snack crackers, this breakfast-focused product comes in single-serve packages of six cracker sandwiches. There are eight varieties: bacon cheddar, blueberry muffin, chocolate crème, cinnamon roll, everything bagel, maple French toast, raspberry Greek yogurt and vanilla Greek yogurt.
Yoplait Plenti Oatmeal Greek Yogurt is a 5.5-oz oval-shaped bowl containing nonfat Greek yogurt blended with oatmeal and fruits. The six varieties are: apple cinnamon, blueberry, maple brown sugar, peach, strawberry and vanilla.
