Restaurants offer updates on the classic cheeseburger.
Steak ’n Shake
Steak ’n Shake is beefing up its menu with a new burger and two new milkshakes.
The Bacon ’n Cheese Triple Xtreme Steakburger features nine half-slices of hardwood-smoked bacon, three 100% beef steakburger patties, two slices of American cheese, lettuce, tomatoes and onions.
The Kit Kat Milkshake is made with Kit Kat bar pieces blended into a vanilla milkshake topped with whipped cream and a cherry.
The Strawberry Cheesecake Milkshake is blended with strawberries and cheesecake pieces and is topped with whipped cream and a cherry.

IHOP
IHOP is adding a trio of new offerings to its menu.
The Cheeseburger Omelette is an egg omelette filled with grilled and diced USDA Choice ground beef, hash browns, tomatoes, onions and American cheese topped with ketchup, mustard and pickles.
The Cheeseburger Sliders feature three USDA Choice beef slider patties topped with American cheese, lettuce, tomato and onion.
The Patty Melt is a grilled beef patty with American cheese and onions layered on marble rye bread.

Carl's Jr. and Hardee's
Carl’s Jr. and Hardee’s is introducing the Jalapeño Double Cheeseburger, featuring two charbroiled beef patties, five jalapeño slices, two slices of Pepper Jack cheese, a swirl of Santa Fe sauce, lettuce and tomato served on a classic bun.

Chick-fil-A is adding two new backyard barbecue-inspired menu items to its lineup.
The Smokehouse BBQ Bacon Sandwich features grilled chicken, bacon coated in a brown sugar pepper blend, Colby Jack cheese, lettuce and a zesty Smokehouse BBQ Sauce served on a Hawaiian style bun.
The Watermelon Mint Lemonade is made with the chain’s fresh-squeezed lemonade mixed with watermelon and mint flavors free from artificial colors or flavors.

Olive Garden
Olive Garden is betting on big with its new line of Giant Stuffed Pastas.
The Seafood Giant Manicotti features oversized manicotti stuffed with a blend of Italian cheeses and topped with shrimp, mussels and a creamy seafood alfredo sauce.
The Three-Meat Giant Manicotti features oversized manicotti filled with Italian cheeses and topped with braised beef, meatballs, Italian sausage and an alfredo sauce drizzle.
The Chicken Florentine Giant Stuffed Shells dish features large pasta shells filled with three Italian cheeses on a bed of spinach, topped with grilled chicken, alfredo sauce and bread crumbs.
The Three-Cheese Giant Stuffed Shells dish features oversized pasta shells filled with a blend of three Italian cheeses and topped with marinara sauce.

Taco Bell
Taco Bell is bringing back its Naked Chicken, this time in the form of Naked Chicken Chips. Made of all-white-meat chicken with Mexican spices and seasoning, the chips come with the chain’s nacho cheese sauce for dipping.

Einstein Bros. Bagels
Einstein Bros. Bagels is launching its new line of Boosted Bagels.
The Espresso Buzz Bagel is infused with 32 mg of caffeine and 13 grams of protein. The bagel is the star of the new Espresso Buzz Bagel & Bacon Sandwich, which features thick-cut, brown sugar bacon, cage-free eggs, cheddar cheese and butter.
The Cherry Chia Bagel is a sweet, oat-topped bagel with 300 mg of omega-3 fatty acids and 12 grams of protein. It stars in the new Cherry Chia Ham & Swiss Sandwich, which features smoked ham, cage-free eggs, Swiss cheese and butter.
The Savory Parm Bagel is boosted with iron, B1, B2 and 12 grams of protein. It is the star of the new Hot Parm & Bacon Sandwich, featuring thick-cut bacon, cage-free eggs and hot parmesan shmear.

Starbucks
Starbucks is introducing the Midnight Mint Mocha Frappuccino. The blended beverage features scoops of extra-dark cocoa blended with coffee, milk and ice infused with mint sugar crystals and cut with a layer of whipped cream. It is then topped with more whipped cream and a dusting of dark cocoa.

Quiznos
Quiznos is offering two new barbecue pulled pork sandwiches made with lean cuts of pork shoulder that are roasted low and slow for six hours then hand-pulled.
The Southern Style BBQ Pulled Pork Sandwich features slow-roasted pulled pork topped with Quiznos’ signature barbecue sauce, yellow mustard, melted mozzarella and cheddar cheese and pickles.
The Spicy Chipotle BBQ Pulled Pork Sandwich combines slow-roasted pulled pork, ham, bacon, aged cheddar cheese, jalapeños, sautéed onions, lettuce, tomatoes, Quiznos’ signature Batch 83 four-pepper chili sauce and chipotle mayo all served on jalapeño cheddar bread.

Dunkin' Donuts
Dunkin’ Donuts is debuting Frozen Dunkin’ Coffee. The beverage is crafted with an extract featuring 100% Arabica coffee that is blended with ice and dairy. The coffee may be customized with any Dunkin’ Donuts flavor swirl or flavor shot as well as the choice of cream or whole or skim milk.

El Pollo Loco
El Pollo Loco is launching its new line of Layered Avocado Salads in four varieties.
The Chicken Fajita Layered Salad features citrus-marinated, fire-grilled chicken, avocado, fajita vegetables, cheddar cheese, black beans and pico de gallo.
The Double Chicken California Layered Salad features a double portion of citrus-marinated, fire-grilled chicken, avocado, cheddar cheese, black beans, pico de gallo and tortilla strips.
The Shrimp Mango Avocado Layered Salad features shrimp, avocado, mango salsa, cotija, rice and cilantro.
The Tossed Chicken Kale Caesar Layered Salad features citrus-marinated, fire-grilled chicken, avocado, kale, cotija and tortilla strips tossed in Caesar dressing.

Peet's Coffee
Peet’s Coffee is serving three new beverages inspired by the San Francisco fog.
The Cold Brew Fog features Peet’s East African Baridi cold brew coffee blend whipped until smooth with a hint of chicory.
The Cold Brew Fog Latte features Peet’s East African Baridi cold brew coffee blend whipped until smooth with a hint of chicory and a touch of milk all topped with whipped cream.
The Mojito Black Tie is made with Peet’s East African Baridi cold brew coffee blend and a hint of mojito layered atop sweetened condensed milk and finished with a float of half and half.
Additionally, Peet’s is building out its breakfast offerings with the new Maple Waffle and Gouda Chicken Sandwich. The handheld is made with cage-free eggs, seasoned chicken sausage and aged Gouda sandwiched between two maple, buttermilk liege-style waffles.

PizzaRev
PizzaRev is pumping up the heat with its new Thai Chicken Pizza. The base of the piquant pie is Thai sizzle sauce, an authentic Southeast Asian sauce with strong notes of garlic, onion and cilantro. The pizza also features sweet chili chicken, mozzarella cheese made with buffalo milk, chopped green onions, cilantro and shredded carrots.
