Product developers use dairy to differentiate snack concepts and meet consumer expectations for health, satiation and indulgence.
The Kraft Heinz Co.’s Breakstone’s and Knudsen brands of Cottage Doubles recently added honey vanilla and mango habanero to the lineup, along with 20% more product, increasing the pack size from 3.9 oz to 4.7 oz. The new pack delivers 9 grams of protein with fewer than 130 calories.

Kraft Heinz’s Snack Trios three-compartment snack packs weigh in at 1.5 oz each and come in four varieties: sharp yellow cheddar, dried cherries and dark chocolate; Monterey jack, dried cinnamon apples and granola clusters; extra sharp white cheddar, dried cranberries and dark chocolate; and Colby jack, dried banana chips and dark chocolate.

Bel Brands USA is launching The Laughing Cow Cheese Dippers breadstick and cheese snack packs. The 1.23-oz packs are available in four varieties: creamy Swiss with classic breadsticks, creamy Swiss with tomato and herb breadsticks, creamy Swiss garlic and herb with whole grain breadsticks, and creamy white cheddar with whole grain breadsticks.
