RXBAR, a subsidiary of Kellogg Co., is expanding beyond bars with the introduction of nut butters in three flavors: peanut butter, honey cinnamon peanut butter and vanilla almond butter. Packaged in single-serve, squeezable pouches, the products contain peanuts or almonds, dates and egg whites.
Annie's, a subsidiary of General Mills, is debuting a spate of new products, including organic toaster pastries and no-sugar-added yogurt.
Pancake mix maker Birch Benders is debuting a line of frozen waffles including a first-ever paleo variety.
Califia Farms is introducing dairy-free yogurt drinks in four varieties made with a coconut and almond base, plus probiotics.
Country Archer Jerky Co.
A new line of meat bars from Country Archer Jerky Co. features ingredients such as grass-fed beef, uncured bacon, dates and collagen.
New from Epic Provisions are Oven Baked Pork Rinds in chili lime and Himalayan and sea salt varieties.
The Hain Celestial Group is expanding its snacks portfolio with Terra, Sensible Portions and Garden of Eatin' products. The company unveiling two organic varieties of Sensible Portions Veggie Straws in sea salt and zesty ranch flavors. New Garden of Eatin' Organic Corn Chips are available in sea salt yellow corn, sea salt blue corn and barbecue black bean yellow corn varieties. The latest additions to the Terra vegetable chip lineup include sweet chipotle and sweets medley.
Purely Elizabeth is introducing a line of Grain-Free Superfood Bars and Single-Serve Vibrant Oats. The bars feature reishi mushroom, cashew butter, coconut oil, hemp seeds, pumpkin seeds, almonds, chia seeds, coconut sugar and coconut nectar. Flavors include coconut cashew, banana nut butter, peanut butter cinnamon and chocolate sea salt. Inspired by the unicorn food trend, the Single-Serve Vibrant Oats combine a base of gluten-free oats, quinoa, amaranth, flax and chia with the vivid hues of naturally sourced colors including turmeric, blue spirulina and pitaya. Flavors include raspberry, coconut and blueberry lemon.
Quinn Snacks is expanding its lineup of gluten-free pretzels with maple oat twists and deli rye-style rods.
SkinnyPop Puffs are baked and made with popcorn rather than rice, cornmeal or fillers. Flavors include white cheddar and cinnamon sugar.
Perky Jerky is adding three pork varieties to its portfolio of premium meat snacks. Flavors include mountain maple, Asian five spice and coconut curry.
The New Primal
From The New Primal comes Beef Thins, a crunchy jerky snack. Available in sea salt and barbecue varieties, the products feature thinly sliced cuts of grass-fed beef that are easier to bite and chew than traditional jerky, according to the company.
Blue Diamond is debuting Crafted Gourmet Almonds, featuring four on-trend flavors, including pink Himalayan salt, black truffle, garlic herb and olive oil, and rosemary and sea salt. The product line features sophisticated packaging and a unique process; first, the almond skins are removed, then roasted, seasoned and cured with a blend of herbs and spices, according to the company.
Justin's, a subsidiary of Hormel Foods Corp., is introducing a new kind of grind: cashew butter. Available in jars and single-serve squeeze packs, the latest addition to Justin's nut butter portfolio has 5 grams of protein per serving and contains no hydrogenated oils, trans fats, preservatives or artificial flavors.
Dave's Killer Bread
Dave's Killer Bread, a company owned by Flowers Foods, Inc., is expanding its breakfast offerings with the addition of Boomin' Berry bagels, featuring cranberry, blueberry, blackberry and acai, with 11 grams of protein.
Nutrition bar brand Bobo's is launching Toast'r, a toaster pastry featuring an oat crust and jam or nut butter filling. Gluten-free, vegan and non-G.M.O., varieties include blueberry lemon poppyseed, strawberry jam, chocolate almond butter and chocolate peanut butter.
From Boulder Brands, a subsidiary of Pinnacle Foods, comes new frozen products featuring on-trend ingredients. Gardein Skillet Meals combine plant-based proteins with crisp vegetables, grains and pastas in flavorful sauces.
Evol is introducing frozen Breakfast Bowls and Modern Nutrition Bowls.
