For the holiday season, Dairy Queen is debuting the Peppermint Hot Cocoa Blizzard Treat, featuring candy cane pieces, chocolate chunks and cocoa fudge blended with vanilla soft serve. The dessert is then finished with whipped topping and candy cane pieces.

Auntie Anne’s is introducing the Hot Chocolate Frost, a frozen twist on the holiday staple. The treat features frozen hot chocolate topped with whipped cream and a drizzle of Hershey’s chocolate syrup.

The Holiday Tree Donut is a yeast tree-shaped donut filled with venetian cream and topped with vanilla fondant and festive nonpareils.

Sweet and spicy collide in the new Nashville Hot Chicken & Waffles from KFC. The dish combines the chain’s spicy and smoky Nashville Hot fried chicken — either bone-in or tenders — with Belgian Liege-style waffles and a side of Mrs. Butterworth’s maple syrup. The menu item also may be ordered as a sandwich with a Nashville Hot chicken filet sandwiched between two waffles and served with a side of syrup.

The Sizzlin’ Cheddar & Bacon Chicken Skillet features sliced grilled chicken breast with melted cheddar cheese, applewood smoked bacon and garlic mashed potatoes all topped with a Parmesan cream sauce. The skillet is paired with steamed broccoli.
The Loaded Fajitas Trio includes chipotle lime sirloin steak, chicken and shrimp, fajita vegetables and Spanish rice all smothered in hot queso then sprinkled with applewood smoked bacon and cilantro and topped with a lime wedge. The skillet is served with four warm flour tortillas, a blend of cheddar cheeses, guacamole, lettuce, sour cream and pico de gallo.
