Keurig Dr Pepper brand The Original Donut Shop launched Cinnamon Toast Crunch-flavored K-Cup pods in collaboration with General Mills, Inc.
The ready-to-brew latte formulation features Original Donut Shop’s traditional coffee blend, dairy creamer and cinnamon sugar essence. Walmart will be the exclusive online and in-store retailer for the pods through March 2024, with a larger national rollout set for spring 2024.
Taking the cinnamon cereal in a spicy direction is the CinnaFuego Toast Crunch. The new take features the Cinnamon Toast Crunch cereal and cinnadust, with a spicy pepper crunch.
“CTC is always looking to give our fans the most absurd and exciting experiences,” said Mindy Murray, senior marketing communications manager at General Mills when the cereal was announced. “So, when we were thinking about what to do next, we realized snack time was a moment that could be spiced up. We can’t wait for CTC lovers to try CinnaFuego, and if they dare, eat it with some milk for breakfast.”
The Cinnamon Toast Crunch brand added Cinnamon Toast Crunch Tres Leches to its cereal portfolio. The cereal features cinnamon and cake flavors, according to the company, and became available at select retailers nationwide this spring.
Cinnamon Toast Crunch added throwback snack Dunkaroos to its product portfolio. Cinnamon Toast Dunkaroos feature vanilla cookies embossed with a “D” and a Cinnadust flavored dipping frosting. The snack is available at convenience stores nationwide.
Cinnamon Toast Crunch debuted soft baked oat bars. The Cinnamon Toast Crunch soft baked bars feature Cinnadust swirls inside the bars and icing swirls on the exterior. The bars became available nationwide beginning in late June.
Pillsbury, a General Mills brand, introduced Cinnamon Toast Crunch soft baked cookies to its product portfolio. The soft cookies feature a swirl of Cinnadust and are available for purchase now.
General Mills debuted a line of cereal that scaled down three of the company’s classic cereals to be miniature, including Cinnamon Toast Crunch, Trix and Reese’s Puffs.
Stuffed Puffs launched a product in partnership with General Mills, marking the first time the filled marshmallow company released a co-branded product.
The new Stuffed Puff Big Bites Cinnamon Toast Crunch marshmallows are filled with a Cinnamon Toast Crunch crème, then coated with crunchy cereal crumbles, according to the company.
Krispy Kreme, Inc. partnered with General Mills, Inc. cereal brand Cinnamon Toast Crunch to launch three donut flavors in a Cinnamon Milk Glazed product line. The items included a cinnamon milk glazed donut, a cinnamon milk glazed donut topped with cream cheese icing and cereal pieces, and a cinnamon milk glazed donut topped with dulce de leche and cereal pieces. The cream cheese and dulce de leche flavors also feature a sprinkling of cinnamon sugar on top.
B&G Foods launched Cinnamon Toast Crunch creamy cinnamon spread. The spread may be used on bread or fruit, as an ingredient in baked foods, as a dessert topping or eaten with a spoon straight from the jar, according to the company.
