Fly By Jing released its newest chili oil flavor: Chengdu Crunch. The flavor, which is inspired by Jing Gao’s hometown, is spicy and extra crunchy, according to the company. The Chengdu Crunch is non-GMO, tree-nut and peanut-free, vegan and contains no artificial preservatives or flavors.
High-protein pasta and pizza maker Banza is teaming up with the Tabasco Brand to launch the limited-edition “Hotter by the Bite” pizza. Made with a gluten-free crust, the pizza features both the Tabasco pepper sauce and the Tabasco scorpion sauce.
Cedar’s Foods added a new sizzling scallion labne dip, which features a blend of scallions, red pepper flakes and labne. The dip delivers “the flavors of a classic sour cream and onion dip with a hot Mediterranean twist.”
TGI Fridays is expanding its line of frozen food offerings with four new entrees. Now included in the line is whiskey-glazed chicken and mashed potatoes, spicy Cajun style chicken fettuccine alfredo, spinach and artichoke sauce chicken and rice and whiskey-glazed pulled pork mac and cheese.
“We are excited about extending the TGI Fridays brand in the frozen meal category,” said Kathleen Schloth, senior vice president of Brand Licensing. “These new entrees bring restaurant quality and innovation to the frozen aisle, providing convenience and ‘That Fridays Feeling’ to enjoy at home.”
Chef and television host Guy Fieri is launching Guy Fieri’s Flavortown, a line of frozen entrees, at Walmart locations nationwide. The line includes a cheesy chicken enchilada bowl, sloppy joe macaroni and cheese, pepperoni pizza lasagna, and sweet and sour pork.
Pasta sauce company Yo Mama’s Foods launched a line of alfredo sauces, which are available in classic, spicy and garlic.
“At Yo Mama’s Foods, we make sauces so you can gather around the table with foods that are delicious, fresh and better for you,” said David Habib, founder of Yo Mama’s. “Americans love Alfredo sauces, and our culinary team worked for months perfecting this all-natural recipe made from fresh cream, Parmesan cheese and butter — just like Mama would.”
Tillamook County Creamery Association (TCCA) is adding two seasonal holiday flavors to its line of ice cream.
The limited-edition flavors include peppermint bark, which features peppermint ice cream, candy cane bits and white chocolate chip chunks, and holiday sugar cookie, which features cookie dough ice cream and sugar cookie dough.
“At Tillamook, we relish the opportunity to be a part of holiday celebrations,” said Ian Moppert, ice cream scientist at TCCA.
“These festive new flavors are a taste of traditional holiday treats with a Tillamook twist, and as always, they’re made with the highest quality ingredients,” said Ian Moppert, ice cream scientist, TCCA. “Many of us have fond memories of eating certain dishes during the holidays, such as our grandmother's sugar cookies.”
Coffee mate is bringing back its Mexican hot chocolate-flavored coffee creamer in celebration of Día de los Muertos. In partnership with Nestle’s Abuelita hot chocolate brand, the chocolate coffee creamer is flavored with cinnamon spice and cocoa.
