Chipotle is re-releasing its smoked brisket menu option three years after it debuted. Available for a limited time at participating locations in the United States and Canada, the product combines smoked brisket seared on a plancha with spices like smoked serrano chili pepper and chipotle chili pepper and a brisket sauce made with smoky chili peppers.
Dunkin’ has added its first-ever coffee milk latte, the Dunkalatte. The beverage combines Dunkin’s espresso with coffee milk, derived from whole milk and Dunkin’s coffee extract, in an iced latte format.
The company also has released two fall flavored beverages: the returning pumpkin spice signature latte and the new almond spice coffee. The almond spice drink features Dunkin’s original coffee blend, almond milk and pumpkin and toasted almond flavor notes, according to the company.
“We’ve put together a lineup that not only celebrates the best of the season but delivers exceptional value,” said Beth Turenne, vice president of category marketing at Dunkin’.
7-Eleven is debuting a new Slurpee flavor as part of a partnership with The Coca-Cola Co. and Mondelez International, Inc. brand Oreo. The Coca-Cola Oreo Zero Sugar Slurpee is inspired by the co-branded Coca-Cola Oreo Zero Sugar beverage and Oreo Coca-Cola Sandwich Cookies snack. The c-store chain will offer the flavor for a limited time at participating 7-Eleven stores nationwide.
“We are thrilled to join forces with Coca-Cola and Oreo to create a one-of-a-kind Slurpee drink experience that delights and excites our consumers,” said Dennis Phelps, senior vice president, merchandising (vault and proprietary beverage) at 7-Eleven, Inc.
Red Robin is expanding its spicy lineup with the Jalapeño Heatwave. The product features pepper-jack cheese, caramelized onion, green chili aioli, mashed avocado with red pepper flakes, grilled jalapeños and fried jalapeño coins. The company also has launched scorpion sauce, a heat-filled offering inspired by the company’s scorpion burger, along with garlic parmesan sauce and sea salt and pepper sauce.
Quiznos has promoted the Lobster & Seafood Sub from a limited-time offering to its permanent menu. The sandwich features lobster, seafood salad and lettuce on Italian white bread. Quiznos also will offer the product in a salad format for health-conscious consumers.
“Whether we offered the special sub as a limited-time offer early in the year or as seasonal summer fare, our guests made it clear they were hungering for more,” said Gregory Boudreaux, vice president of operations and brand leader at Quiznos’ parent company, REGO Restaurant Group. “Their voices have been heard, and we’re thrilled to satisfy their cravings by bringing this clear favorite back to our menu permanently.”
Casey’s has merged the jalapeño popper appetizer and the pizza format with its latest offering. The pizza is topped with Philadelphia-branded whipped cream cheese, bacon, a cheddar and mozzarella cheese blend, mild pickled jalapeños and a drizzle of Mike’s Hot Honey for an additional kick.
