Launches range from product line expansions to format innovations.
Green Giant has launched crispy smashed potatoes, corn cob bites and veggie ramen vegetable offerings. Designed in an easy-to-prepare format, the potatoes come in garlic Parmesan and sea salt and black pepper flavors. The corn cob product features 1-inch cuts of corn on the cob in flavors like butter, salt and pepper and Mexican-style street corn. Green Giant’s vegetable ramen comes in varieties like chicken flavored, beef flavored, garlic soy and spicy chicken flavored.
The company also has expanded its Veggies & Rice line, with broccoli pilaf and asparagus, pea and mushroom risotto, and its Roasting Veggies line, with tri-colored potatoes and broccoli and roasted red potatoes.
The J.M. Smucker Co. has launched its first flavor innovation to its Uncrustables brand in 10 years: peanut butter and raspberry. Mixing a creamy peanut butter variety with a seedless raspberry spread, the frozen sandwich contains zero high-fructose corn syrup, artificial sweeteners or colors.

Myna Snacks is branching out from the cookie category with pizza-flavored crackers. The snacking innovation features a gluten-free formulation made with ingredients like almond flour, white cheddar cheese, tomato powder, egg whites and a blend of Italian herbs. Each serving contains 150 calories, 7 grams of protein and vitamins D and E.
“Our community told us they love the taste of pizza but can’t eat it all day,” said Darcey Macken, co-founder and chief executive officer of Myna Snacks. “So, we created a snack that captures that craveable flavor without the guilt.”
PepsiCo, Inc. has added to its hydration portfolio with Gatorade Hydration Booster. The electrolyte drink mix is designed to aid all-day hydration for everyday lifestyles, according to the company. Formulated from a blend of watermelon juice, sea salt, sodium citrate and potassium salt, the packets contain 100% of the daily recommended intake of vitamins A, B3, B5, B6 and C, along with zero artificial flavors, sweeteners or added colors. Gatorade Hydration Boosters are available in strawberry watermelon, tropical mango and citrus berry flavors.
Ice Breakers, a brand of The Hershey Co., is introducing a new way to enjoy gum with the launch of Ice Breakers Flavor Shifters. The gum will transition from one flavor to another as it’s chewed, according to the company. Flavors include wild berry-cool mint and wintergreen-cool mint.

The Kraft Heinz Co. is bringing its Philadelphia brand to the baking category with Philadelphia Cream Cheese Flavored Frosting. Derived from milk and cream, the refrigerated frosting is designed as an easy-to-use format with no preparation or cleanup required, according to the company.

Premium cookie brand My Better Batch has launched its flagship baking mixes. Aimed at consumers seeking convenient home cooking solutions, the mixes feature clean label, non-GMO ingredients and require only butter and eggs to be added.
