Limited-edition winter items are starting to snowball.
Flipz, a pretzel brand from pladis Global, is celebrating the winter season with the debut of limited-edition seasonal snacks. Snickerdoodle and peppermint hot cocoa flavored covered pretzels are available in select retailers while supplies last.
Rustica Foods is launching a line of Detroit-style pizzas in Canada. The line includes double pepperoni, four cheese & garlic, meat lovers, and deluxe.
“We created this new pizza segment to offer an elevated pizza experience that captures the essence of Detroit style pan pizza,” said Richard Morgane, president & chief executive officer at Rustica Foods, Inc. “Each of our new Rustica pizzas is crafted with high-quality ingredients and a commitment to delivering a unique and satisfying taste experience that stands out in the frozen pizza aisle.”
La Monarca Bakery, a Mexican-food brand, is launching an assortment of cookies. Six new flavors are being released: wedding cookies, polvorones, orejitas, cinnamon cookies, butter cookies and chocolate butter cookies.
“Just in time for the holiday season, our assorted Mexican cookie box includes our top-selling cookies,” said Richard Cervantes, co-founder and chief executive officer of La Monarca Bakery. “Like all of our products, these delicious cookies are made in small batches using simple ingredients, and never without artificial flavors or preservatives.”
Amy’s Kitchen is debuting five canned soups inspired by international cuisines and the American south. International-inspired flavors include pasta fagioli and Dai makhani, and Southern-inspired flavors vegetable Jambalaya, gumbo soup and three bean vegetable chili. The new soups may be purchased at Alberton’s, Amazon, Kroger, Safeway, Target, and Walmart for $3.99-$4.99.
“We wanted to create that same comfort and nourishment for busy families – soups made exactly how you would at home, with real organic ingredients and slow simmering, just without spending hours in the kitchen,” said Fred Scarpulla, chief culinary officer at Amy’s Kitchen. “These recipes are made with ingredients we feel good about serving our own families.”
Green Giant, a subsidiary of Seneca Foods Corporation, is preparing for the holiday season with the launch of canned pumpkin. The product is available in select Costco stores nationwide.
Mozzarella stick brand Big Mozz is launching two frozen flavors: Big Mozz Sticks Super Ranch and Big Mozz Sticks Flamin’ Mozz.. Super ranch is available at Whole Foods Markets and online and flamin’ mozz may be purchased exclusively online.
“These bold, flavor packed creations aren’t just new – they’re here to spice up what’s been a sleepy category for too long,” said Matt Gallira, founder of Big Mozz.
Little Bites, a Bimbo Bakeries USA brand, is embracing the winter season with the launch of Little Bites hot cocoa with marshmallow muffins. Featuring 180 calories per pouch, four-pouch boxes are available at most retailers through March 2025.
“This seasonal flavor brings all the magic of winter’s favorite drink into a fun, portable snack that can be enjoyed anywhere, anytime,” said Moira Flood, marketing director for Little Bites.
Little Sesame, a hummus brand, is extending its product outreach to children with the launch of a chickpea hummus for children. The hummus is available for $6.99 at Whole Foods Markets, and each box features four 2.5oz cups of hummus.

Bonne Maman, a preserves brand, is launching a line of ready-to-bake pie fillings. Three flavors are available: apple, blueberry and cherry. The pie fillings are available packaged in 21 oz glass jars and may be purchased for $9.99 at bonnemaman.us or in select retailers.
AMC Theaters is adding a new flavor to its line of retail popcorn: cinnamon butter. The product will be available at select retailers at the end of November with a larger rollout expected in 2025.
“AMC continued to expand our ready-to-eat and microwave popcorn products to more grocery stores nationwide,” said Ellen Copaken, senior vice president, marketing, AMC Theaters. “This new cinnamon butter flavor, a great addition to an already popular lineup of flavor options, fills any space with a sweet intoxicating aroma.”
Pasta brand Barilla is shaping things up for winter with the release of Barilla snowfall pasta. The pasta line features three winter-themed shapes, including snowflakes, poinsettias and hearts. The pasta will be available in December exclusively at Walmart stores and its website.
“It’s been magical watching Barilla snowfall come to life, and we hope that it inspires moments of togetherness, helping to create new memories with loved ones,” said Angie Cotter, US pasta category marketing director at Barilla. “We look forward to continuing to bring joy to the pasta-eating experience with many more fun shapes to come.”
