CHAMPAIGN, ILL. — Jimmy John’s is debuting a duo of new sandwiches that feature regional staples with a twist.

The Jimmy Cubano revamps a Florida favorite by combining bacon, smoked ham, provolone cheese, pickles, mayo and Dijon.

The Spicy East Coast Italian elevates the classic Italian sandwich by doubling the layers of genoa salami, capicola and provolone cheese and topping them with hot cherry peppers, mayo, sliced onions, lettuce and tomatoes.

Both sandwiches are available at all Jimmy John’s locations as permanent menu items. The two new sandwiches follow the launch of the limited-time-only Frenchie sandwich in April, which was inspired by cafes and boulangeries in France. The Frenchie features salami, capicola, provolone cheese and salted butter in a French baguette.

“We’re always looking to take the best of the sandwich world and give it a Jimmy twist for our customers,” said John Shea, chief marketing officer of Jimmy John's. “We’re excited to bring a little more culture and a lot more flavor to our menu with these two classics.”
