KALAMAZOO, MICH. — Kalsec is introducing DuraShield Antimicrobial Food Protection Blends in the United States.
The blends combine natural antioxidants, like rosemary and acerola extracts, with natural antimicrobials, like cultured dextrose and buffered vinegar, to improve shelf-life and food safety in a range of applications, including meat and poultry, deli salads, dips, sauces and dressings.
DuraShield Natural Food Protection Blends offer a clean label alternative to synthetic food preservation blends, according to the company.
