ELMWOOD PARK, N.J. — Dr. Praeger’s Sensible Foods has expanded its line of veggie burgers with the new Cauliflower Veggie Burger.

The burger is made with six types of vegetables — cauliflower, kale, peas, zucchini, onions and scallions — as well as brown rice, quinoa, fava beans, oat bran and fiber, arrowroot powder, flaxseed meal, pea protein and spices. Each 4-oz patty contains 210 calories, 10 grams of fat, 9 grams of fiber and 9 grams of protein. The Cauliflower Veggie Burgers are Non-GMO Project verified, certified gluten-free, vegan, kosher and soy-free.

Dr. Praeger’s Cauliflower Veggie Burger is sold in packs of two patties for $4.99. The burger is available on the company's website and at retailers nationwide including Fresh Direct, Meijer, Wegmans, Publix and Kroger.

Additionally, Dr. Praeger’s is donating a percentage of sales of the Cauliflower Veggie Burger to Farmers Against Hunger.

“Dr. Praeger’s is honored to partner with Farmers Against Hunger to support their efforts to create a more cooperative system that benefits local farmers, the New Jersey community, and the planet,” said Larry Praeger, chief executive officer of Dr. Praeger’s.
