TORRANCE, CALIF. – Morinaga Nutritional Foods, Inc. is introducing Mori-Nu Plus, a fortified tofu available through direct-to-consumer channels. The new product is a good source of protein, vitamin D and calcium, according to the company, and it features efficacious amounts of prebiotics and Morinaga’s LAC-Shield postbiotic.
“Our mission has always remained the same: to facilitate an easy and delicious intake of nutrients while promoting a wholly-nutritious lifestyle backed by evidence-based, scientific facts,” said Satoshi Endo, president and chief executive officer of Morinaga Nutritional Foods. “We are excited to introduce a new concept of tofu, Mori-Nu Plus fortified tofu, which can be adapted to everyday recipes and is made for all healthy-living enthusiasts.”
The fortified tofu is vegan and verified non-GMO, according to the company.
