DEVON, PA. — L2 Capital Partners has acquired Kosmos Q, LLC. Financial terms were not disclosed. With the acquisition, Scott Jensen has been named chief executive officer.
Kosmos, founded in 2009 by world champion pitmaster Darian “Kosmo” Khosravi, makes barbecue rubs, sauces, brines, injections, glazes and accessories.

Jensen joins Kosmos Q from Rhythm Superfoods LLC where he most recently was president and CEO. He also co-founded and led barbeque sauce company Stubb’s Bar-B-Q.

Terry Meyer also joins Kosmos as vice president of sales. He will drive retail penetration strategy for the company. Earlier, Meyer was vice president of sales at Rhythm Superfoods LLC and previously vice president of sales and operations at PodPonics.
