Maple Hill produces third-party certified 100% grass-fed organic dairy items.

BOULDER, COLO. — Sunrise Strategic Partners, a Boulder-based accelerator of emerging brands, has made a minority investment in Maple Hill Creamery. Financial terms were not disclosed.

Maple Hill produces third-party certified 100% grass-fed organic dairy items, including whole milk yogurt, kefir, cheese and milk. The company has more than 100 farms, representing 25% of all organic dairy farms operating in New York State.

The investment from Sunrise will enable Maple Hill to add to its team and expand its sales, marketing and supply to support the brand’s growth.

The investment in Maple Hill marks Sunrise Strategic Partners’ sixth investment since it launched in February. Sunrise also has invested in Perky Jerky, Kodiak Cakes, PACT | Organic and Teton Waters Ranch.

Sunrise Strategic Partners offers growth capital and expertise to emerging brands that have reached $10 million to $20 million in revenue and have a strong proof of concept in the marketplace. The firm was founded by Mr. Hughes, founder and former c.e.o. of Boulder Brands, and Trilantic North America, a private equity firm.
