KANSAS CITY — New menu items are proving that two is better than one.
Two different taco shells are the defining feature of Taco Bell’s new Double Stacked Tacos. The Cool Habanero, Cheddar Crunch and Sweet & Spicy varieties each feature both a hard crunchy shell and a soft tortilla held together with a different sauce flavor.
Olive Garden is launching a new line of dishes devoted to duos. The restaurant’s new FlavorFilled Pairings lineup features filled pastas paired with premium steak, chicken or shrimp. Available options include Lobster Ravioli & Tuscan Sirloin, Spinach and Ricotta Mezzaluna Ravioli & Sauteed Jumbo Shrimp, Asiago Tortelloni & Parmesan Crusted Chicken, and Lobster Ravioli with Jumbo Shrimp & Tuscan Sirloin.
A&W Restaurants is debuting two dessert duets featuring both peppermint and Oreos. The Peppermint Shake Made With Oreo consists of vanilla soft serve ice cream blended with crushed peppermint and Oreo cookie pieces all topped with whipped cream and a cherry, while the Peppermint Polar Swirl Made With Oreo features vanilla soft serve ice cream with crushed peppermint and Oreo cookie pieces mixed in.
