BERKELEY, CALIF. – Amanda Martinez was hired as executive vice president of operations and administration for Annie’s, Inc. Additionally, Mark Mortimer was promoted to executive vice-president of sales and marketing. Both positions were newly created.
Ms. Martinez, who previously was vice-president of frozen food at Safeway, Inc., will oversee operations and supply chain, human resource development and sustainability initiatives. Mr. Mortimer, who has been chief customer officer at Annie’s since 2010, will add sales and marketing functions to his responsibilities.
“These appointments are part of our overall effort to position Annie’s to thrive as we continue to grow and expand,” said John Foraker, chief executive officer of Annie’s.
