BATON ROUGE, LA. — Michael Morse has been named chief executive officer of Louisiana Fish Fry Products, Ltd. The move comes a little more than a month after Louisiana Fish Fry was acquired by private equity firm Peak Rock Capital.

Mr. Morse has more than 20 years of experience across branded food and consumer industries, most recently as vice-president of operations and marketing at Reily Foods Co. Earlier, he spent nine years at McCormick & Co., including four years as general manager of its Zatarain’s division. He began his career as a product manager for Advil at Wyeth Consumer Healthcare.

He received a bachelor’s degree in business management from Clark University and a master’s degree in marketing from the University of Michigan Stephen M. Ross School of Business.

Additionally, the company promoted Brad Burkett to chief operating officer. Mr. Burkett has been with Louisiana Fish Fry for more than 28 years, most recently as general manager.

Founded in 1982 Louisiana Fish Fry makes a range of products, including spices and seasonings, seafood boils, breadings and batters, sauces and marinades, and rice mixes. The company’s products are sold in grocery and mass market retailers as well as food service outlets nationwide.
