LOUISVILLE, KY. – Papa John’s International is offering its unique spin on buffalo chicken wings with its new Grilled Buffalo Chicken Papadia. The item is available until Oct. 25.
The Grilled Buffalo Chicken Papadia features Papa John’s fresh dough filled with grilled chicken and onions, held together by a melted three-cheese blend, mixed with a buttermilk-ranch and spicy buffalo sauce.
“We know buffalo sauce and wings are popular among our guests, but with the Grilled Buffalo Chicken Papadia, we take it to the next level by packing the flavor into our fresh, never-frozen dough for easier eating on-the-go,” said Paul Fabre, senior vice president of product innovation. “No wet wipes needed here – just the complementary flavors of bold buffalo sauce and mellow ranch paired with cheesy goodness.”
The Papadia is inspired by the ‘piadina,’ an Italian folded flatbread sandwich from Northern Italy. Papa John’s entered the lunch day part for the first time with the Papadia which comes in four varieties: the Italian, Philly Cheese Steak, Grilled BBQ Chicken & Bacon and Meatball Pepperoni.
