NEW YORK — Godiva Chocolatier has announced the arrival of its limited-edition Holiday Gift Collection and seasonally inspired treats. The new collection and offerings look to capture the sparkle and light of the holiday season, Godiva said.
The company’s Holiday Sparkle Collection features curated holiday boxes filled with iconic Godiva chocolate pieces and signature truffles, alongside the new, limited-edition Sparkle Collection chocolates. The sparkling chocolates, designed and crafted by Godiva's chef chocolatier Jean Apostolou, feature festive shimmer on the outside and nostalgic flavors of the season such as hot cocoa, almond, caramel and raspberry.
The collection is available in three flavors:
- Milk Chocolate Almond Caramel – Caramel infused with almonds, enrobed in milk chocolate drizzled with milk chocolate and dusted with gold edible glitter
- Dark Chocolate Hot Cocoa – Dark cocoa ganache surrounded by dark chocolate and sprinkled with white edible glitter
- White Chocolate Raspberry – Raspberry preserves enrobed in white chocolate and dusted with pink edible glitter
“The inspiration for these chocolates came directly from the twinkling lights and ornaments of the holiday season that decorate our homes and somehow transform the everyday to something magical,” Mr. Apostolou said. “Each of the handcrafted Godiva chocolates are topped with edible glitter, making them shimmer, and the insides are filled with classic holiday flavors like hot cocoa and almond, instantly evoking the warmth and wholesome goodness of the season. I created the Sparkle Collection to bring happiness to others by capturing the joy of the holiday season, which we are all especially eager to embrace this year.”
This holiday season, Godiva boutiques and cafés nationwide will offer seasonally inspired treats including Peppermint Mochas and Cinnamon Spice Lattes or classic beverages Peppermint Hot Chocolates and Cinnamon Spice Hot Chocolates. This year, consumers may can add a Candy Cane Truffle to any Godiva shake.
Special gift offerings for the season include the limited-edition Holiday Truffle Collection (featuring truffle flavors including salted caramel, Christmas cookie, roasted almond, milk chocolate and cranberry), Holiday Hot Chocolate Toppers (snowman and Santa hot chocolate toppers that add a chocolatey layer to seasonal warm beverages), holiday artisanal lollipops (available in Godiva milk, dark or white chocolate and holiday characters like Santa and a snowman) and holiday handcrafted truffle pops (milk chocolate truffles dipped in milk, dark or white chocolate and decorated with holiday sprinkles).
