PLANO, TEXAS — The Frito-Lay North America division of PepsiCo, Inc. is set to launch Lay’s Layers, a product the company describes as “multi-dimensional, one-of-a-kind potato bites with layers of delicious crispiness.”

The potato chips will be available in two flavors: three-cheese, which features a tangy and cheesy blend of cheddar, Parmesan and gouda; and sour cream and onion.

“Lay’s fans are known for finding joy in the everyday — no matter what life throws their way — and this multi-faceted approach to life helped inspire Lay’s Layers,” said Melissa Miranda, senior director of marketing, Frito-Lay North America. “Lay’s Layers is a new offering in the Lay’s portfolio that is just as multi-dimensional and flavorful as our fans’ lifestyles.”

The potato chips will be available in mid-January at a suggested retail price of $4.09 for a 4.75-oz bag, $1.99 for a 1.75-oz bag or two for $1 for two 0.5-oz bags.
