KANSAS CITY — As the dogdays of summer rapidly approach, new beverages are refreshing shelves at retail locations.
Sparking water company Aura Bora, known for introducing a Thanksgiving-inspired green bean casserole sparkling water, added an offering to its portfolio. Inspired by the flavors of summer, the raspberry vanilla sparkling water features a blend of raspberry and vanilla bean flavorings.
Tropicana added a line of zero-sugar juice, which features no artificial sweetener ingredients. The juices are available in three flavors: summer splash punch, lively lemonade and passionfruit lemonade escape. All three flavors come in a 52-oz bottle, and the summer splash punch and lively lemonade flavors come in a single-serving 12-oz bottle.
Also going the zero-sugar route is Chobani, who debuted a line of zero-sugar drinks, an extension of its zero-sugar portfolio, which has previously only included Greek yogurt cups. The zero-sugar drinks come in 7-oz single-serve bottles, and are available in mixed berry, peaches and cream, strawberry cheesecake and milk and cookies flavors.
“After a few years of being hyper-focused on optimizing our core portfolio and improving excellence in our supply chain and service levels, we are extremely excited to once again dazzle the shelves with the launch our new zero sugar drinks,” said Niel Sandfort, chief innovation officer. “This latest innovation takes an already successful product line, made with natural ingredients, to the next level by evolving it into a drinkable format, perfect for the on-the-go consumer.”
