Food Entrepreneur BALTIMORE — Aspiring food entrepreneurs are getting a little extra help with the launch of Home Grown. Gregory Vetter, chief executive officer and founder of salad dressings and condiments manufacturer Tessemae’s, launched the accelerator program out of his own trials and successes of creating a company. Mr. Vetter said he wanted to share his knowledge of the food industry after launching Tessemae’s.

Mr. Vetter said the subscription-based program is aimed at getting CPG startups up and running. The program will provide members with market knowledge and ideas before launching their brands.

“We want to be on the leading edge of fueling innovation,” Mr. Vetter said. “Our objective, simply put, is to nurture retail viability for organizations seeking to prosper. Throughout my career, I’ve always been intentional with my work so this new chapter aligns well with that philosophy. I’m excited to assist the next wave of aspiring CPG brands with their growth trajectory and help them get established the right way.”

The team at Home Grown includes Mr. Vetter as creation developer, Maurice Taylor as creative director, and Kristen Dittami as chief product officer.
