NEWTON, MASS. — Spindrift Beverage Co., a sparkling water manufacturer, is launching two new flavor additions.

Spindrift Grapeade looks to capitalize on the nostalgia for purple grape flavored products that were common during the 90s, featuring Concord grapes and the brand’s sparkling water blend.

“When you drink Spindrift Grapeade sparkling water, you can smell and taste the refreshing sweetness of real grapes,” said Jon Silverman, senior vice president of business development and innovation at Spindrift. “That’s an experience that just can’t be recreated with artificial ingredients.”

Spindrift Island Punch is the company’s take on tropical punch, made with a mix of passion fruit, orange and guava juice. Both products were developed using squeezed fruit juice to appeal to consumers interested in beverages free from added sweeteners, artificial flavors, artificial colors and syrups.

“We ask ourselves: can we recreate this flavor our way?” said Bill Creelman, founder and chief executive officer. “With our team’s meticulous attention to detail, tireless sourcing, respect for the ingredients and obsession with batching and tasting, we know we can do it. This effort guides every decision we make.”

The drinks will be available beginning this month in select retailers and online through the Spindrift website starting in March.
