PURCHASE, NY. — Pure Leaf, a PepsiCo, Inc. and Lipton partnership brand, is rolling out its first sugar-free, zero calorie innovation.

The beverage features a black tea blend sweetened with sucralose and 69 mgs of caffeine per 18.5-oz bottle. In addition to being sugar and calorie free, Pure Leaf Zero Sugar Sweet Tea contains no artificial flavors, colors, concentrates or preservatives.

“Bringing our first-ever Zero Sugar Sweet Tea product to market has been a long time coming,” said Julie Raheja-Perera, general manager, North America, Pepsi Lipton Partnership. “We know this is an iced tea option consumers are looking for today, and we took the time needed to perfect our recipe. We wanted to make the delicious taste of sweet tea happen without sugar, while keeping Pure Leaf’s standards of real, freshly brewed tea that consumers have come to know and love.”

The tea is now available in retailers nationwide for a suggested retail price of $2.49 per 18.5-oz container.
