BREA, CALIF.   — Ventura Foods is expanding its dressings, sauces, mayonnaise, oils and flavorings portfolio by acquiring Atlanta-based Dyma Brands. Terms of the acquisition were not disclosed.

Dyma Brands, a liquid portion control and bulk condiment, seasonings, and dry blend mixes maker for the foodservice industry, will operate as a subsidiary of Ventura Foods.

"This purchase allows us to better support our customers with added production and distribution capabilities and an expanded product portfolio."

Ventura Foods also is acquiring Dyma Brand’s manufacturing facilities in Bremen, Ga.; Duluth, Ga.; Bondurant, Iowa; and Visalia, Calif.
