LAS VEGAS — Plant-based Mexican eatery brand Tacotarian is entering the retail channel with a line of shelf-stable taco fillings.

The Tacotarian at Home product lineup aims to deliver a restaurant-quality experience for health-conscious home cooks seeking sustainable, and globally inspired flavors. Varieties at launch include jackfruit-based barbacoa filling and birria filling made with jackfruit and Beyond Meat’s plant-based ground beef alternative. Each flavor contains 300 or less calories per 0.5-cup serving and is ready to serve after heating in a skillet, microwave or air fryer.

“We are elated to meet people where they are and present them with a retail line that allows them access to our plant-based offerings regardless of location,” said Kristen Corral, co-founder of Tacotarian & Tacotarian at Home.

Tacotarian at Home’s initial flavors will begin to roll out into premium retail locations soon and are available for pre-purchase through the company’s website. The brand also is planning to release carne asada and al pastor filling varieties, though no timeline for the launch has been announced.
