Annie’s rolls out frozen pizza snacks

BERKELEY, CALIF. — Annie’s, Inc. is launching pizza poppers and mini pizza bagels in the frozen aisle. Pizza poppers and pizza bagel bites feature mozzarella, Parmesan, Romano, Italian sausage, and uncured pepperoni. The products contain 7 to 10 grams of protein per serving. In addition, the frozen pizza snacks don’t contain artificial flavors or colors. The pizza poppers and mini bagel pizzas are available in three varieties: uncured pepperoni, three cheese, and a combination of uncured pepperoni, sausage, and cheese. The pizza products are part of the Made to Matter Target line and are available at Target stores nationwide. Bertolli introduces two Italian-style tortas

OMAHA, NEB. — Bertolli, a ConAgra Foods brand, is announcing the introduction of Italian-style tortas. The tortas are available in two flavors: three cheese marinara and Italian sausage. Pillsbury offers filled cookies

MINNEAPOLIS — Pillsbury, a business unit of General Mills, Inc., is releasing two cookie selections called Melts. The two flavors include s’mores and molten fudge cake. S’mores features a graham-flavored cookie with chocolate chips, a marshmallow center, and chocolate drizzle topping. The molten fudge cake selection includes a chocolate cookie, molten chocolate center, and chocolate drizzle topping. Pillsbury Melts are sold nationwide for a suggested retail price of $3.69.

 

RAP releases fruit-flavored gummies

CHICAGO — RAP has begun offering protein gummies that are fat-free and gluten-free. The three flavor offerings include: strawberry, mixed berry, and citrus. A single-serving pouch offers 25 to 35 gummies and 20 grams of protein. The protein delivered comes from whey protein isolate. “We’re excited to launch RAP Protein Gummies as a great-tasting and innovative alternative within the protein category,” said Michael Sayles, head of marketing. “RAP is a consumer-driven proposition. Blue Bell rolls out Malt Shoppe ice cream

BRENHAM, TEXAS — Blue Bell is expanding its ice cream product lineup with a malt flavor. Malt Shoppe features chocolate malt ice cream with milk chocolate-covered malted milk balls. “We created our Malt Shoppe Ice Cream to capture the unique flavor of a malted milkshake.
