
Restaurants team up with C.P.G. brands to offer new mashups.
Krispy Kreme Doughnuts and the Hershey Co. have joined forces to develop the Reese’s Outrageous Doughnut. The candy-donut mashup features a chocolate yeast dough donut dipped in Hershey’s chocolate fudge icing topped with mini Reese’s Pieces, Reese’s peanut butter sauce and salted caramel sauce.
Dairy Queen has teamed up with The Hershey Co. to launch new Reese’s Outrageous Blizzard Treat, featuring Reese’s peanut butter cups, Reese’s pieces, peanut butter and caramel blended with vanilla soft serve.
Baskin-Robbins is introducing the Ice Cream Freeze, which may be made with a choice of a bottled or canned beverage and any hard scoop ice cream flavor. The highlighted combinations are the Monster Energy or NOS Energy and Wild 'n Reckless Sherbet Freeze, the Sprite and Rainbow Sherbet Freeze and the Coke and Vanilla Ice Cream Freeze.
Additionally, the ice cream chain is launching a new ice cream flavor, Caramel Cream Puff Ice Cream. The treat features pastry cream-flavored mousse ice cream and salted caramel ice cream with burnt sugar crystals, pastry pieces and a burnt caramel swirl.

The Bacon Jalapeño Mac & Cheese starts with the restaurant’s Wisconsin Mac & Cheese topped with bacon and crispy jalapeños.
Sonic Drive-In is adding a berry boost to its milkshake offerings with new Real Fruit Berry Shakes, made with Sonic ice cream combined with fresh berries. Varieties include Real Fruit Berry Strawberry, made with strawberries; Real Fruit Berry Blueberry, made with blueberries; and Real Fruit Berry Triple Berry, made with strawberries, blackberries and raspberry and wild berry flavors.
