New snacks packed with protein are piling onto shelves.
Rich Products Corp. is introducing Farm Rich Time Outs, a line of microwavable, single-serve snacks packaged in heat-and-eat boxes with dipping sauces.
The pepperoni pizza roll-ups include marinara sauce and are made with layered mozzarella cheese and pepperoni slices wrapped in flour tortillas. The fiesta chicken roll-ups feature mild poblano ranch sauce and include three seasoned flour tortillas filled with chipotle chicken and pepper jack cheese.
The boneless chicken bites are chicken fritters with a sweet barbecue sauce. The mozzarella bites combine pizzeria-style dough filled with mozzarella cheese and marinara sauce.
Real Good Foods is building out its protein-packed portfolio with new Stuffed Chicken. The gluten- and grain-free entrees are made with chicken raised without antibiotics.
The broccoli and cheddar cheese variety contains 26 grams of protein and 5 grams of carbs per serving; the spinach and artichoke flavor contains 25 grams of protein and 6 grams of carbs; the roasted poblano chile and jack cheese flavor contains 29 grams of protein and 4 grams of carbs; and the Cordon Bleu chicken — which is stuffed with uncured ham and cheddar cheese — contains 29 grams of protein and 4 grams of carbs.

The new Better Break convenience products are based on fresh vegetables and contain 130 calories or fewer per serving. Packaged in microwavable, B.P.A.-free packaging, the offerings provide 4 grams of protein and contain 90 to 130 calories.
The Spicy Pomodoro Better Break is made with kohlrabi linguine and chunky, spicy chipotle pepper tomato sauce.
The Zesty Green Chile Better Break contains kohlrabi, cauliflower, kale, chickpeas and bell peppers tossed in a tangy green chile sauce.
The Summer Corn Better Break features cauliflower, broccoli, sweet potato, kale and corn sauce with roasted corn and bell pepper.

Chiquita Brands International’s Fresh Express brand is introducing the Thai ‘N’ Cashews Chopped Kit. The salad mix includes a blend of green and red cabbage, romaine lettuce, carrots, green onions, Thai spiced wonton strips, roasted cashews, toasted coconut flakes and a creamy Thai dressing.
The new salad kit is available in the refrigerated produce department nationwide with a suggested retail price of $3.99.
Launching from Lehi Valley Trading Co. is a line of gourmet trail mix blends that feature dried fruits and the company’s recently released gourmet candied nuts.
The Cherry Cocoa Almond Blend includes cocoa roasted almonds, tart dried cherries and cranberries, semi-sweet chocolate chunks and pepitas.
The Vanilla Cranberry Cashew Blend features vanilla cranberry cashews, tart dried cranberries, diced coconut, almonds and semi-sweet chocolate chunks.
The Cocoa Coconut Almond Blend mixes cocoa roasted almonds and cocoa coconut almonds with coconut chunks, macadamia nuts and semi-sweet chocolate chunks.

Green Valley Creamery is launching a line of lactose-free Greek yogurt. Each serving contains 12 to 16 grams of protein and has “a rich flavor and thick luxurious texture,” the company said. The 5.3-oz single-serve cups come in reduced-fat plain, vanilla bean, strawberry and blueberry flavors, while the multi-serve 32-oz cups come in three varieties of plain — nonfat 0%, reduced fat 2% and whole milk 4% - as well as whole milk and vanilla bean.
Green Valley Creamery Greek yogurt is available for a suggested retail price of $1.79 for single-serve and $6.99 for multi-serve.
