Nestle S.A. has joined forces with General Mills, Inc. and Hometown Food Co. to create two new flavored coffee creamers under the Coffee Mate brand. New Cinnamon Toast Crunch and Funfetti creamers are slated to hit shelves in January. Both will be sold in 32-oz bottles for a suggested retail price of $3.99 at retailers nationwide.
The Cinnamon Toast Crunch creamer combines cinnamon, brown sugar and hints of toasted cereal flavors and “tastes like the best of the ‘cinnamilk’ left in your bowl,” Nestle said.
The Funfetti creamer features the flavors of vanilla, cake batter and frosting.
Ferrara Candy Co. has teamed with Disney’s Star Wars franchise to launch a line of Star Wars-themed Nerds candy products.
New Star Wars Nerds Ropes feature crunchy Nerds candies on a chewy rope and come in two varieties: Dark Side Cherry and Light Side Raspberry. Both varieties contain 90 calories and 21 grams of sugar per 0.92-oz rope and retail for 99c.
Star Wars Sour Big Chewy Nerds include a blend of Light Side Raspberry and Dark Side Strawberry sour chewy candies covered in a sweet and crunchy Nerds candy shell. Available in 8-oz stand-up bags for $2.49, the candies contain 100 calories and 22 grams of sugar per 21-piece serving.
The new Star Wars Nerds Theater Box contains box Light Side Raspberry and Dark Side Cherry Nerds packaged side-by-side in a 5-oz box. Each 15-gram serving contains 60 calories and 14 grams of sugar. The candy retails for $1.09.
