Frozen dessert makers churn out new offerings.
New from Nestle SA’s Häagen-Dazs brand is a line of Soft Dipped Ice Cream Bars. Available in three varieties, the frozen desserts feature ice cream enrobed in a soft chocolate truffle coating.
The vanilla Soft Dipped Ice Cream Bar features vanilla ice cream covered in a soft chocolate truffle coating. Each bar contains 250 calories, 17 grams of sugar and 3 grams of protein.
The chocolate variety contains chocolate ice cream covered in a soft chocolate truffle coating. Each bar contains 260 calories, 18 grams of sugar and 4 grams of protein.
The caramel bar has caramel ice cream with a caramel swirl covered in a soft chocolate truffle coating. Each bar contains 270 calories, 20 grams of sugar and 3 grams of protein.
Häagen-Dazs Soft Dipped Ice Cream Bars are set to hit shelves in April for a suggested retail price of $4.49 per box of three bars.
Huel is adding three new flavors to its range of snack bars: peanut butter, coffee caramel and chocolate orange. Each 200-calorie bar provides 12 grams of plant-based protein and is made with oat flour, rolled oats, pea protein, brown rice protein, cocoa powder, coconut, date syrup, flaxseed and vegan chocolate chips. Huel bars are non-GMO and free of soy, eggs and dairy.
