We believe Flow has innovated a product that fits squarely into consumer needs and complements our existing portfolio of sustainable and functional beverages.”

Keto Krisp bars

Keto Krisp

CanDo, the maker of low-carbohydrate Keto Krisp bars, has added a new dark chocolate almond sea salt bar to its lineup. The product is plant-based and gluten-free, with 11 grams of protein, 8 grams of fiber and 2 grams of sugar.

“At CanDo, our mission is simple: to seek better and do better,” said Adam Bremen, founder of CanDo. “This is the driving force behind every new flavor we create, including our new Dark Chocolate Almond Sea Salt bar. Satisfying your chocolate craving doesn’t have to be synonymous with ‘cheat days’ or ‘guilty pleasures.’ It was important for us to maintain the sweet, decadent taste you crave from dark chocolate with a nutty crunch from protein-packed almonds, but with just 2 grams of sugar.”

Fresh Cravings salsas and dips

Fresh Cravings

Fresh Cravings has expanded its assortment of salsa and dips. New dairy-based dips are kale artichoke and poblano street corn, and new salsas include triple pepper, which has a blend of jalapeño, Anaheim and Scotch bonnet peppers, and peach mango.

“We are excited to add these four new items into Fresh Cravings’ family of products,” said Jay Whitney, chief marketing officer of parent company FoodStory Brands. “In addition to the distinctive flavors these new products provide, our expansion into dairy-based dips reflects our commitment to provide snack-lovers with thoughtfully curated recipes and affordably priced products.”

Joolies medjool dates

Joolies

Joolies, a grower of organic medjool dates, has unveiled a line of indulgent snacks. Jooliettes are diced dates panned in dark chocolate. Flavors include matcha, blood orange and sea salt.

“Our goal is to create products that we love and crave with the idea that our consumers will love them, too; and who doesn’t love the idea of a date nibble coated in dark chocolate?” said Mark Masten, chief executive officer. “We’ve sampled the product at several trade shows over the last few months and have been loved by both consumers and trade members alike.”

Soozy's grain-free foods

Soozy’s Grain Free

Soozy’s Grain Free, a baker of grain-free foods, is introducing a birthday cake donut exclusively in Sprouts Farmers Market stores. The pastry is certified gluten-free, sweetened with organic coconut sugar and maple syrup, and made without grains, dairy, soy, gums, refined sugar, preservatives and fillers. Its sprinkles are colored from plants and vegetables, such as red cabbage, beet and turmeric.

“As someone who used to have to avoid many of the ‘fun’ nostalgic snacks and treats due to a severe gluten sensitivity, including traditional donuts, I’m delighted to be able to offer customers a product that’s truly delicious, nutritious, and also fun to enjoy,” said Mason Sexton, co-founder of Soozy’s. “It’s a flavor profile that we’ve received great initial feedback on with the launch of our birthday cake cookies in 2020. To be able to recreate the nostalgic vanilla birthday cake flavor profile in a baked good without the refined sugar, gums, grains and artificial dyes, all while keeping the soft and delicious donut texture is no easy feat, but we were up for the challenge.”
