Summer-inspired beverages are being offered to consumers from retailers and foodservice operators alike.
Tim Hortons, a Restaurant Brands International chain, debuted a line of energy-infusion beverages, in partnership with Red Bull. The line of drinks is available in two varieties: sunrise sunset, which is a mix of raspberry-flavored syrup and Red Bull Yellow Edition, and sky’s the limit, a blend of coconut and blue raspberry-flavored syrups with Red Bull Energy Drink.
THC-infused beverage company Cann released Cann Lites, a better-for-you alcohol substitute with no added sugar. Cann specializes in making social tonics, which contain both THC and CBD for a “social buzz,” according to the company.
Cann Lites are available in honeydew mint, golden citrus bark, cloudy apple rhubarb and tangerine hops varieties.
Dunkin’ added iced beverages to its menu. The brown sugar cream cold brew has notes of molasses, brown sugar and cinnamon, topped with brown sugar cold foam and a dusting of cinnamon sugar. Other new limited-time cold beverages include the mango and pineapple refresher, a cake batter latte and a butter pecan iced coffee.
Non-alcoholic aperitivo brand Figlia has launched its first ready-to-drink beverage Fiore Frizzante.
Fiore Frizzante is a canned, zero-proof aperitivo that features effervescent bubbles and a touch of lemon, according to the company.
Chipotle Mexican Grill partnered with Tractor Beverage Co. to offer a limited-edition organic watermelon limeade.
Flow Beverage Corp. released its Flow Vitamin-Infused Water in three flavors: cherry, citrus and elderberry. The organic beverage contains 120% of the recommended daily value of vitamin C and is an excellent source of zinc, with no sugar, calories or preservatives, according to the company.
In partnership with PepsiCo, Taco Bell, a Yum! Brands business unit, introduced Brisk Dragon Paradise sparkling tea, featuring tropical dragon fruit, raspberry and blackberry flavors with a hibiscus tea base.
Tropicana has released a pair of tropical beverages. The new offerings include piña colada, now available in single-serve, 12-oz bottles, and peachy pineapple paradise. The products are available at select grocery stores nationwide.
Soft pretzel company Auntie Anne’s, a Focus Brands business unit, has launched three beverages for a limited time. The dragonfruit mango frost blends dragonfruit and mango puree with frozen lemonade, topped with whipped cream and pink sprinkles. The dragonfruit mango frozen lemonade combines dragonfruit and mango puree with frozen lemonade. The dragonfruit mango lemonade mixer pairs dragonfruit and mango puree with lemonade.
