MIAMI — Burger King Worldwide, Inc. is expanding its BK Delivers home delivery program to Boston.

“BK Delivers is already performing well in New York, Miami, Houston, Los Angeles, Chicago, San Francisco Bay Area, Las Vegas, Sacramento (Calif.), greater Washington D.C., Phoenix and Denver,” said Petru Pusta, director of retail innovation for Burger King Worldwide. “As its popularity has grown, we have seen an increasing demand for the program in other markets. This expansion was an easy decision as Boston has some of our most loyal guests, and the Burger King brand is excited to offer them the opportunity to enjoy the foods they love, delivered to them in the comfort of their home, dorm or office.”

The company currently has one Boston restaurant delivering with plans to open two more delivery sites during the next two to three weeks and two more this summer.

Delivery is available in the markets for a minimum food order of $10, and customers may choose from various established menu items as well as new limited-time menu items. Orders must be placed during the hours of 11 a.m. to 10 p.m., and orders may be placed on-line or over the phone.
