KANSAS CITY — New convenient meal solutions are debuting across the grocery store nationwide.

Dr. Praeger’s added two plant-based burgers with a crunchy texture, which are available in crunchy cauliflower veggie and crunchy Southwestern sweet potato flavors. The burgers are formulated with six vegetables and a short list of vegan, gluten-free ingredients. Dr. Praeger’s created the crunchy alternatives in response to consumer complaints about texture within the plant-based category.

Making its debut for the first time is an entree line by James Beard Award-winning chef Andrew Zimmern. His frozen line, By Andrew Zimmern, features four entrees: pulled pork mac and cheese, meatloaf with mashed potatoes, turkey dinner with mashed potatoes and green beans and Swedish meatballs and noodles.

“These frozen meals are a result of years of exploration, passion, and dedication to the art of cooking,” said Andrew Zimmern. “Whether you're enjoying the comforting notes of pulled pork mac and cheese or savoring the rich flavors of Swedish meatballs, each dish tells a story of authentic flavors and family. With 'By Andrew Zimmern' frozen entrees, it is possible to enjoy chef-quality comfort food meals with all the quality and none of the stress.”
