KANSAS CITY — Coffee and coffee flavors are all the buzz in new product launches.
Coffee and cookies collide in Mondelez International’s new Oreo flavor. The company teamed up with Dunkin’ Brands to launch Dunkin’ Donuts Mocha Oreos, which feature mocha flavored crème stuffed between two chocolate wafers.
The Kraft Heinz Co. has crafted a whole new coffee line called MAX by Maxwell House, featuring the MAX Boost and MAX Indulge lines. MAX Boost is a roasted coffee that offers varying levels of caffeine — 1.25x, 1.5x and 1.75x the caffeine of an average cup of Arabica coffee — without changing the taste, the company said. MAX Indulge is a line of coffee and cocoa blends available in three flavors: Mocha, Mocha & Salted Caramel and Mocha & S’mores.
Coffee is a featured flavor in Nature’s Path Organic Foods’ new line of Superfood Bars, featuring ingredients such as chia, hemp and coconut. The bars are U.S.D.A. certified organic, Non GMO Project verified and contain no artificial preservatives, additives or synthetic pesticides and are available in a Mocha Hazelnut flavor.
Soylent is expanding its ready-to-drink caffeinated beverage line with two new coffee flavors: Café Vanilla and Café Chai. The Café Vanilla flavor provides 150 mg of caffeine, while the Café Chai flavor contains 30 mg.
