Dr Pepper Snapple Group has announces three leadership promotions.
 

PLANO, TEXAS — Three have stepped up at Dr Pepper Snapple Group (DPS), initiating a leadership shuffle.

Jaxie Alt has been named executive vice-president of human resources for Dr Pepper Snapple. She previously was senior vice-president of marketing for the company, leading brand marketing and activation for the Dr Pepper brand as well as 7UP, A&W and Sunkist. Ms. Alt joined DPS in 2001 and has held various leadership roles within the company in management, innovation and media services. Prior to DPS, Ms. Alt was senior promotions analyst for Taco Bell at Yum Brands, Inc.

Andrew Springate has been named senior vice-president and chief marketing officer of DPS. Mr. Springate has been with the company since 2000, most recently as senior vice-president of sales and general manager of the Coca-Cola Affiliated Sales Organization (CASO) since 2014. He was also senior vice-president of marketing, innovation and strategic planning for the company and senior vice-president of brand marketing for Dr Pepper, 7UP, Canada Dry, A&W, Sunkist, Crush, Hawaiian Punch, Mott's juices and Snapple teas. Before joining DPS, Mr. Springate was brand manager for Sprite at the Coca-Cola Co.

Succeeding Mr. Springate, Jason Butter has been named senior vice-president and general manager of CASO. Mr. Butter joined DPS in 1998 and has held a variety of positions within the company. Previously, he was vice-president of sales development since 2013 after serving in business planning, field marketing, national accounts and bottler sales for the company.

“We take great pride in our efforts to develop our people and build a pipeline of strong and talented leaders who have the capabilities and passion to take DPS to the next level,” Mr. Young said, “and that's what these changes are all about.”
