Candy-flavored coffee creamers and cereals are sweetening supermarket aisles.
Candy-inspired coffee creamers are coming to the Coffee Mate portfolio. The Nestle USA brand is introducing Snickers and Dove Dark Chocolate Almond flavored creamers, available in 32-oz bottles.
Halo Top Creamery is bringing back three limited-edition ice cream flavors as permanent fixtures to its lineup as well as adding three new non-dairy, vegan-friendly frozen dessert flavors.
The returning favorites include Blueberry Crumble, featuring pieces of pie crust and blueberry swirls; Peaches & Cream, featuring a swirl of peaches in a vanilla and cream base; and Peanut Butter & Jelly, featuring peanut butter ice cream with swirls of strawberry sprinkled with cannoli bites.
The new non-dairy flavors, made with coconut milk, include Mint Fudge Cookie, featuring cookie pieces and fudge swirls throughout a chocolate and mint base; Chocolate Hazelnut, featuring a chocolate base with swirls of hazelnut; and Peanut Butter & Jelly, featuring a peanut butter flavored base with strawberry swirls and cannoli bites.
Cookie dough is at the core of Ben & Jerry’s new ice cream pints … literally. The Unilever P.L.C. brand’s new Cookie Dough Core line features three cookie dough ice cream flavors with gobs of cookie dough running down the middle.
The Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough Core features cookie milk ice cream with fudge chips and a chocolate chip cookie dough core.
The Sweet Like Sugar Cookie Dough Core ice cream features a sugar cookie dough core in the middle of two ice cream flavors: sweet ice cream with a hint of almond flavor and shortbread cookie pieces, and cherry ice cream with cherry pieces.
The Wake & “No Bake” Cookie Dough Core features vanilla ice cream with peanut butter cookies and peanut butter ice cream with fudge chips al surrounding a no-bake cookie dough core.
Flowers Foods, Inc. has expanded its Dave’s Killer Bread brand with the launch of English muffins. The muffins are available in two varieties: Killer Classic and Rockin’ Grains.
The Killer Classic variety has six grams of protein and eight grams of whole grains per muffin and is baked with five grains: quinoa, spelt, rye, millet and barley.
The Rockin’ Grains variety has 20 grams of whole grains per muffin, which Flowers Foods claims is the most whole grains of any organic English muffin on the market. The muffins contain flax, sunflower, sesame, millet and quinoa.
Both products are certified U.S.D.A.-organic and Non-GMO Project verified.
New from Bimbo Bakeries USA are Entenmann’s Little Bites Churro Muffins. The limited-edition miniature muffins are dusted with cinnamon sugar and come in a box containing five pouches of four.
General Mills, Inc. is adding to its Fiber One ready-to-eat cereal portfolio with the launch of Fiber One Strawberries and Vanilla Clusters. The new cereal is made with steel cut oats, vanilla clusters and strawberries. Fiber One Strawberries and Vanilla Clusters contains 35% of the daily recommended value of fiber in every one-cup serving, General Mills said.
