Limited-time offerings swamp shelves and menus ahead of the holiday season.
Great American Cookies is partnering with The Lumistella Co., which owns the Elf on the Shelf Brand, to release an Elf on the Shelf cookie cake.
“The Lumistella Co. is committed to creating joyful family moments,” said Helen Bransfield, executive director, licensing at The Lumistella Co. “What better way to create merry moments for Santa’s Scout Elves and their families than to join with Great American Cookies to offer the most festive treats of the season.”
Jamba added a seasonal smoothie to menus across the United States. The merry orange cranberry smoothie blends the flavors of cranberries and citrus, served on top of a layer of coconut whip.
Planters, a Hormel Foods brand, released its limited-edition of holiday-inspired nuts. Included in this year’s holiday line is butter cinnamon pecans, cocoa almonds, a brittle nut medley, a holiday nut crunch, a winter spiced mix and the holiday trio pack.
My/Mochi returned with its cool peppermint holiday flavor.
“Cool peppermint My/Mochi captures the magic of the winter holidays to create the perfect ‘pepperminty,’ pillowy ice cream snacks this holiday season,” said Russell Barnett, managing director and chief marketing officer of My/Mochi. “My/Mochi is here to bring the cool weather feelies and pillowy snuggliness of being home for the holidays right into your mouth.”
Krispy Kreme is bringing back its Santa’s Bake Shop menu, featuring three new donuts and two returning donuts.

The two returning items include the Santa Belly donut and the chocolate iced with holiday sprinkle donut.
“We’re bringing the fun, flavors and joy of the Christmas season to life by turning Krispy Kreme shops into Santa’s Bake Shop,” said Dave Skena, global chief brand officer at Krispy Kreme. “We hope our fans pick up these delicious, fresh treats to share with family and friends at holiday gatherings.”
Premium chocolate brand Niagara Chocolates added two festive flavors to its lineup. The sugar cookie and toffee clusters are made from a blend of sugar cookie bits and milk chocolate. The other new product is the gingerbread cookie clusters, which is a blend of milk chocolate and gingerbread pieces. Returning to the holiday line are the peppermint cookie crunch clusters and the double chocolate mint cups.
Hostess Brands is offering four limited-edition holiday-inspired treats. The holiday HoHos are making their debut, as well as holiday cupcakes, mint chocolate-flavored Twinkies and hot cocoa and marshmallow flavored Donettes.
Cracker Barrel Old Country Store added a new wine-based cocktail: the Glitter Globe Spritzer. The cocktail is made with Roscato Moscato wine, cranberry juice and topped with an edible red holiday glitter.
Jet Puffed released two limited-edition marshmallow flavors in mini peppermint and french vanilla snowman varieties. The two new flavors are available at Walmart and Target locations.
Dunkin’ is adding three items to its holiday menu, including a cookie butter cold brew, a cookie butter donut and a pancake wrap.
The cookie butter cold brew features Dunkin’ cold brew, with notes of sweet brown sugar and baked cookie flavors. It is topped with a cookie butter cold foam and cookie butter crumbles. Continuing with the cookie butter flavor, the cookie butter donut features a yeast donut shell, filled with cookie butter buttercrème and topped with a maple-flavored icing and crushed cookies.
The last new item joining Dunkin’s holiday menu is the pancake wake-up wrap, which is a pancake, featuring a hint of maple syrup, filled with egg, melted cheese, sausage or bacon and served with a side of syrup.
Almond-company Blue Diamond is bringing holiday-inspired products to its portfolio. The company released snickerdoodle-flavored almonds and peppermint cocoa-flavored almonds, which are available for a suggested retail price of $4.19
Halo Top is bringing back its limited-edition holiday flavor: gingerbread house. At 360 calories, the pint is made with a gingerbread ice cream, as well as gingerbread cookie pieces and an icing flavor.
Freddy’s Frozen Custard & Steakburgers released its holiday menu, featuring two new items. The french onion steakburger is cooked to order with two patties, topped with Swiss cheese, grilled and crispy onions, bacon and french onion sauce. The other holiday item is the Oreo cookie peppermint shake. The shake is blended with chocolate and vanilla frozen custard, peppermint syrup, crushed Oreo cookies and peppermint candy pieces.
Hudsonville Ice Cream is partnering with Little Debbie once again to release an ice cream flavor inspired by Little Debbie's Christmas tree cakes. The holiday flavor is the latest Little Debbie cake-themed ice cream to be released and joins the existing line of seven flavors.
Mars’ M&M’s and Dove brands released their holiday products, which include espresso dark chocolate-flavored M&M’s in festive colors and holiday brownie batter Dove chocolates.
