BETHESDA, MD. — Sustainable snack company Eat the Change is introducing a “grown-up version” of its carrot chews, featuring sophisticated flavor profiles, including Meyer lemon, ginger turmeric and maple cardamom.
The line extension follows the launch of Cosmic Carrot Chews, a vegetable snack for children, earlier this year, offered in sour cherry, orange mango and apple cinnamon flavors.
“Following the successful launch of Cosmic Carrot Chews, our new lunchbox treat for kids, we saw an opportunity to create a snack that appeals to adults of all ages,” said Seth Goldman, co-founder of Eat the Change. “Consumers are looking for convenient and delicious ways to incorporate more vegetables into their diets. Our Organic Carrot Chews are a great option to pack and enjoy at work, while traveling or really any time you want a tasty, nutrient-dense snack.”
The snack is made with four ingredients, including organic carrots and organic fruit juice. The carrots are gently cooked, infused with fruit juice and natural flavors, and dehydrated. A serving contains 130 calories and 2 grams of fiber.
“We’ve heard from a number of parents who have introduced Cosmic Carrot Chews to their kids, and the feedback is in — They want a snack of their own,” said Chef Spike Mendelsohn, co-founder of Eat the Change. “Organic Carrot Chews are the grown-up version of Cosmic Carrot Chews, but with flavor combinations that appeal to all ages.”
Eat the Change Organic Carrot Chews are available to purchase at eatthechange.com for $6.49 to $6.99 per multi-serve package.
