LOS ANGELES — Bruvi, a single-serve coffee startup focused on sustainability, is launching two coffee pod offerings in partnership with beverage brands LAMILL Coffee and Joyride.

The cooperative effort brings LAMILL’s Black Onyx blend and Joyride’s cold brew to the Bruvi homebrewing system designed to provide convenient, cafe-quality coffee. Bruvi’s partner roasts will be packaged in its proprietary B-Pods, single-use containers infused with a bio-enzyme that quickly breaks down waste and microplastics.

“This is a milestone for us,” said Mel Elias, co-founder of Bruvi. “Superior craft brands selling their coffee in Bruvi B-Pods is an important endorsement of our system.”

The Black Onyx B-Pod, featuring flavor notes of toffee, oak and dark chocolate, are now available through Bruvi’s website in 20-count boxes. Joyride’s cold brew is expected to launch online in early September.

“We're proud to welcome LAMILL and Joyride and to bring their exceptional coffees to our customers in a way that's convenient, responsible and delicious,” Mr. Elias said.
