KANSAS CITY — New better-for-you formulations are making their ways to retail locations.
Prebiotic soda company Olipop debuted its latest better-for-you formulation with the introduction of ginger ale. The new take on ginger ale features 5 grams of sugar, prebiotics and 9 grams of fiber.
Single-serve brownie brand Dalci launched its fifth flavor, pumpkin spice blondie. The pumpkin spice blondie is available at Sprouts locations starting in September, with direct-to-consumer availability through Amazon coming soon.
The blondies are made with no preservatives or artificial ingredients, and feature ingredients like coconut sugar, almond flour, pumpkin puree, and warm spices like cinnamon, nutmeg and ginger.
Siete Foods has partnered with fast-casual chain Sweetgreen for their first ever “partnerchip.” The two companies partnered together to debut SG x Siete: Green Goddess Ranch Potato Chips with a Hint of Poblano. The kettle-cooked chips are inspired by Sweetgreen’s green goddess ranch dressing with an added hint of poblano flavor. They are made with avocado oil and are also gluten-free and dairy-free.
“As a better-for-you Mexican-American brand, we're excited to bring Siete's heritage-inspired offerings to new places,” said Miguel Garza, co-founder and chief executive officer of Siete Foods. “We feel connected to Sweetgreen's focus on building healthier communities and wanted to develop a product that represents our shared vision. By blending poblano and Green Goddess Ranch flavors, we created something unique and delicious.”
