Sparkling Ice introduces tea line

SEATTLE — Sparkling Ice is extending its beverage line with a zero-calorie iced tea. The carbonated beverage is a combination of brewed black tea, green tea and fruit juice. Flavors include raspberry, lemon and peach. "As we continue to develop exciting new flavors and line extensions for Sparkling Ice, customer satisfaction remains a top priority," said Kevin Klock, president and chief executive officer of Talking Rain Beverage Co. Baskin-Robbins adds two new cake options

Hostess offers Danish, muffin, and donut flavors

LAS VEGAS — Hostess Brands L.L.C. is expanding breakfast offerings with the addition of new Danish, muffin, and donut varieties. New Danish selections include apple, berries and cheese, cheese, and chocolate. Jumbo muffins will be available in banana nut, blueberry and chocolate chip. Glazed Donettes will be available in the donut category. “Hostess has been driving the sweet baked goods category growth with a focus on both breakfast and all-day snacking. Pacific Foods packs in protein with organic broth products

TUALATIN, ORE. — Pacific Foods is rolling out organic bone broth products. The broth selections are made by slow-cooking pasture-raised chicken and turkey bones with apple cider vinegar, water, onion, and fresh herbs and seasonings for 24 hours. Each serving of broth packs in 9 grams of protein and 40 calories per serving. In addition, the products are shelf-stable and available in 32-oz and 8-oz resealable B.P.A.-free aseptic cartons. Lee Kum Kee launches sriracha chili ketchup

CITY OF INDUSTRY, CALIF. — Lee Kum Kee is introducing sriracha chili ketchup. The new ketchup variety joins its line of sriracha chili sauces. Tim Hortons adds steak to menu

OAKVILLE, ONT. — Tim Hortons is expanding its menu with the addition of steak. The new menu items include a steak and cheese panini as well as a Chipotle-flavored option. Skinnygirl launches popcorn product

OMAHA, NEB. — Orville Redenbacher’s, a business unit of ConAgra Foods, Inc., is partnering up with Skinnygirl to produce a microwave popcorn product. The popcorn is available in two flavors: lime and salt and butter and sea salt. Skinnygirl microwave popcorn contains 25 calories per cup of popped popcorn. In addition, the gluten-free popcorn is made with whole grains and doesn’t contain trans fat. Ten packs of Skinnygirl popcorn are available for a suggested retail price of $4.99.

Annie’s launches grass-fed macaroni and cheese

BERKELEY, CALIF. — Annie’s is debuting a line of organic, grass-fed macaroni and cheese. The macaroni and cheese is available in three varieties: shells and real aged cheddar, shells and white cheddar, and classic mild cheddar. Annie’s products are made without antibiotics, synthetic hormones, persistent pesticides, artificial flavors, or synthetic colors or preservatives. Nature’s Path rolls out new salsas and tortilla chips

RICHMOND, B.C. — Nature’s Path is adding new tortilla chip and salsa varieties to the product lineup. The salsa is made with tomatoes, onions, chipotle, jalapeño peppers, garlic, cilantro, and other herbs and spices. Salsas are available in chipotle, Mexicana medium, and Mexicana mild flavors. Dunkin’ Donuts announces chewy granola bar addition

CANTON, MASS. — Dunkin’ Donuts is rolling out Dunkin’ Go Bars. The pre-packaged, chewy granola bars are created with the original blend coffee. Each bar consists of 220 calories, 7 grams of protein, 8 B vitamins, and 12 grams of whole grains. The granola bars are sold at participating Dunkin’ Donuts restaurants.

Chick-fil-A features grill items

ATLANTA — Chick-fil-A is introducing new grilled menu options. New menu options include grilled nuggets, chicken sandwiches, market salads and wraps. Chick-fil-A products are marinated with sea salt, lemon, garlic and herbs. "With our new grilled options, Chick-fil-A now has a countless number of meal combinations and pairings that are all under 500 calories," said Jodie Worrell, nutrition manager for Chick-fil-A.

State Garden introduces line of cooking greens
