AUSTIN, MINN. – Lloyd’s Barbeque Co., a Hormel Foods Corp. brand, has joined forces with Brooklyn, NY.-based barbecue restaurant Pig Beach to launch new pecanwood smoked pulled pork and hickory hardwood smoked pulled chicken made with Pig Beach Mustard BBQ Sauce.

Pig Beach Mustard BBQ Sauce won the 2014 and 2016 Memphis in May World Championship Barbecue Cooking Contest in both 2014 and 2016. The Carolina-style sauce is one of five retail products offered by Pig Beach, including BBQ Seasoning Rub, Rob's Righteous Red BBQ Sauce, Tangy Vinegar Mild BBQ Sauce and Ocean Front Hot BBQ Sauce.

“The Lloyd’s brand offers a meat that is moist, tender, flavorful and perfectly smoked and is arguably better than a lot of barbecue that I’ve eaten at restaurants,” said Matt Abdoo, executive chef and co-founder of Pig Beach. “To pair our sauce with it is an incredible honor.”

Lloyd’s new pecanwood smoked pulled pork and hickory hardwood smoked pulled chicken made with Pig Beach Mustard BBQ Sauce are available nationwide in 16-oz entree trays for a suggested retail price of $5.99-$7.99.

“Barbecue is all about bringing families and friends together,” said Eric Jacobson, barbecue brand manager for Lloyd's. “Our new hardwood smoked pulled meats made with Pig Beach Mustard BBQ Sauce are perfect for any backyard barbecue or hectic weeknight meal while bringing delicious and smoky competition-style authenticity to your plate.”
