NORWICH, NY. — Chobani, LLC is launching two new product lines: Chobani Probiotic plant-based beverages and Chobani Complete lactose-free Greek yogurt food and drinks.

Chobani Probiotic beverages feature a base of whole grain oats and fruit juice that is fermented with probiotic cultures then blended with organic fruit and herbal extracts with a light effervescence. Available in lemon ginger, pineapple turmeric, peach mint and cherry hibiscus tea flavors, the plant-based drinks are non-dairy, USDA certified organic and made with non-GMO ingredients. Each 14-oz bottle retails for $3.79 and contains 80 calories, 11 grams of sugar and billions of probiotics.

“Chobani Probiotic beverages don’t contain any sweetener ingredients like cane sugar or honey,” Chobani said. “Instead, the sweetness of Chobani Probiotics comes from the natural process of enzymes breaking down the whole grain oats, which makes for the perfect environment for our six live and active cultures to thrive.”

Chobani Complete is a high-protein, lactose-free yogurt with no added sugar. Sweetened with monk fruit and stevia, the yogurt is available in cup, shake and tub formats. The 5.3-oz cups contain 15 grams of protein, retail for $1.49 and come in blueberry, key lime, vanilla, strawberry, mixed berry and peach flavors. The 10-oz shakes contain 25 grams of protein, retail for $1.99 and are available in banana cream, mixed berry vanilla, strawberry cream and vanilla varieties. The 24-oz tubs contain 17 grams of protein, are available in vanilla and retail for $5.99. Every Chobani Complete product contains 3 grams of fiber, probiotic cultures and prebiotic cultures from chicory root fiber, and is diabetes-friendly and gluten-free.

“With every trip to the store, consumers are looking to do more than just fill their bellies,” said Peter McGuinness, president of Chobani. “They want healthier foods and drinks to calm their minds, restore their bodies and replenish their energy. Natural nutrition is a driving focus of our future. We’re proud to bring Chobani Probiotic — a plant-based, fermented organic drink — and Chobani Complete loaded with up to 25 grams of protein — to the aisles, each with the perfect combination of flavor, function, and packed with probiotics and other key nutrients for busy on-the-go modern families.”
