KANSAS CITY — New products that are making their way to shelves are sweet and indulgent.

Better-for-you candy company Justin’s expanded its line of candy alternatives with the introduction of chocolate candy pieces, which are available in dark chocolate peanut and dark chocolate peanut butter flavors.

“At Justin’s, we’re committed to crafting real-food products that offer a moment of deserved indulgence,” said Penny Andino, vice president of marketing at Justin's. “We are thrilled to bring these delicious peanut and peanut butter dark chocolate candy pieces to our fans, expanding beyond nut butter cups and into another beloved nostalgic treat.”

Mrs. Butterworth’s, a brand of Conagra Brands, has partnered with Dunkin’ to launch a new glazed donut flavored pancake syrup. The syrup mirrors the sweet vanilla flavor notes of a fried glazed donut, according to the company.

“We are thrilled to partner with Dunkin' and bring their iconic donut flavor to the syrup aisle,” said Lucy Brady, president, grocery and snacks at Conagra Brands. “Our new syrup is the perfect breakfast essential to serve anytime you’re at home and craving that delicious, glazed donut flavor.”

Dunkin’ also is expanding its retail presence with the introduction of brownie batter creamer, inspired by the new brownie batter donut.

“The Brownie batter signature latte was a hit in Dunkin’ restaurants last year, and we couldn’t be more excited to bring this delicious offering to the at-home coffee experience,” said Brian Gilbert, vice president, retail business development for Dunkin’. “While it’s a limited-time offering, there’s plenty of Dunkin’ Brownie Batter Creamer to go around — so don’t worry, there’s no need to fight for the last lick of brownie batter like we’ve all done when baking with family and friends.”

Chewy candy brand Hi-Chew released a dessert mix, which features flavors like strawberry ice cream, key lime and candy apple.

“Through our Chew Crew, we’ve learned that consumers want more unique flavor offerings that are unlike anything they’ve experienced before,” said Teruhiro Kawabe (Terry), chief representative for the USA and president, chief executive officer of Morinaga America, Inc. “The unveiling of these exciting three flavors follow the tremendous success of the Hi-Chew Fantasy Mix in 2022, which satisfies consumers’ desire for more non-traditional chewy candy flavors. We’re confident that the Hi-Chew dessert mix will become an instant favorite among brand fans.”
